I have been waiting so long to capture Shanda and Brandon’s gorgeous wedding since their engagement session! They were an absolute dream to work with during their engagement session and I could just tell that Shanda had EVERY detail handled! And boy was I right! The Meadow Wood Acres wedding venue in Morrice, Michigan was decorated sooo well as they did not miss a beat when putting the reception together. Her décor allowed guests to see each other as they were octagons or flower pillars!
Meadow Wood Acres had a great space for the bride to get ready with plenty of room for the bridal party! For a new venue in the Michigan wedding market I LOVED it and hope to be back soon in 2023!
The ceremony site is tucked into a little bit of woods that allows for amazing light during a late afternoon ceremony! Have a look for yourself!
Before the wedding I like to make sure I speak with my couples to make sure I can make as many of their visions come true! And because the officiant of this wedding was a family member Shanda and Brandon were able to work into their ceremony where I was able to get a SECOND first kiss so I could get the “in front” first kiss AND a kiss where I am behind the couple looking out at the crowd! I might have had to jump in the bushes BUT HEY it is all worth it!
